Winter in the Whiteshell is a photographer’s dream. From sparkling snowflakes and serene winter landscapes to wildlife braving the cold, there’s no shortage of inspiration to capture. This year, we’re inviting you to grab your camera and join the Winter Photo Contest.

Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just love snapping pics, we want to see how you experience winter in the Whiteshell! It doesn’t matter if it’s a scenic shot of the frosty frozen lake, the wonder of wildlife in the snow, the beauty of flora touched by frost, or just the fun of winter adventures, your photo could land you awesome prizes and the chance to be featured in the 2026 Whiteshell Calendar.

How to Enter:

Ready to show off your photography skills? Here’s how you can participate:

1. Snap Your Best Winter Shot: We’re looking for photos that capture the essence of Winter Adventure, Scenic Views, Wildlife, and Flora. Whether it’s the beauty of a snow-covered forest or a close-up of a snowy fox, we want to see it!

2. Submit Your Photo: Upload your photo via the submission platform or email it to us with your completed entry form. Make sure your photo is a JPG or PNG file between 2 MB and 20 MB. Please don’t include watermarks or logos.

3. Tell Us About Your Photo: Include the category of your photo, where it was taken, and a short caption (max 600 characters) that describes the moment you captured.
