Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary and Visitor Centre provides an upclose view of goslings in spring and fall during migration. The Centre features an interpretive program, displays, exhibits, self-guiding hiking trail and an observation gallery overlooking a small pond. School programs and group bookings available. Long ago, Indigenous peoples created petroforms: placements of stones in the form of circles, turtles, women and more as a tool to educate, tell stories, and record history. We continue to learn from these ancient knowledges today.

Follow this gravel path winding through the boreal forest.

Located near Betula Lake, this 4.2 km trail follows old logging roads, looping through a mix of planted Jack and Red pine forest, leading to a granite rock ridge.

The trail has beautiful panoramic views, is fairly steep in places and moves over rocky, rough terrain. A popular photo spot is a cave in a vertical rock wall with trees growing through the rocks.

This trail gives hikers magnificent views of the river and three sets of rapids (Pine Point Rapids, Acorn Falls and Viburnum Falls). A warm up shack and picnic area are located approximately 3 km into the trail with great views of Pine Point Rapids.
